Finance AdsPolicy Filter

Check copy, the ad as it will appear, and the landing page before anyone uploads to Meta. Guidance only — not legal advice, and not a Meta or ASIC decision.

  1. 01

    Paste the copy

Primary, headline, description, and any overlay text.

  2. 02

    Drop the ad image

The creative as it will appear. Meta OCR-reads the phone UI.

  3. 03

    Add the landing URL

The first fold has to match the ad. Then run the filter.

Desk order

Steps you take.

Laddr is already restricted. Do these in order — verification, Special Ad Category, Finance Ads Policy Filter, then the rewrite. Do not appeal the 10 August rejects with the same copy.

  1. 01

Hold new ads until verification clears

The Laddr Meta account is already restricted. Do not upload fresh creatives until Business Verification is approved.

  2. 02

Declare Special Ad Category on every ad set

Financial products and services → Credit. Age 18+ only. Missing this is treated as evasion, especially with dollar amounts and approval UIs in the creative.

  3. 03

Run Finance Ads Policy Filter before Ads Manager

Paste copy, upload the ad image as it will appear, and add the landing URL. Leave all four policy filters on. Do not upload a High result.

  4. 04

Rewrite the image, not just the caption

Meta OCR-reads overlays. “Haven’t been paid yet?”, “Need cashflow?”, and “Need to hire more staff?” reject even when primary text is clean.

  5. 05

    Fix the landing-page first fold

laddr.com.au/get-pre-approved must match the ad. Lead with eligibility + product. Drop “Get Your Cashflow Sorted Today” and “your Reece trade history”.

  6. 06

    Soften speed and certainty

Use “Pre-approval available” and “Assessment based on Reece trading history”. Drop “today”, “within 48 hours”, and “about an hour” unless you can substantiate them for most applicants.

  7. 07

Keep the credit provider next to the offer

TruePillars Pty Ltd ABN 36 603 933 508 and “Eligibility criteria applies” sit beside the claim — footer-only disclaimers do not save a hero that over-promises.

  8. 08

Don’t appeal with the same ad

The 10 Aug 2026 “Misleading business practices” rejects will recur. Ship the low-risk rewrite as a new ad. Recheck every variant here first.
